Age of Puberty

Nowadays, the age of puberty starts very early from an age of 9 to 16 years. Girls tend to about 2 years earlier than boys. Puberty simply means the production and maturing of sex cells in the reproductive system. So parents, do take note of the following changes occuring in your child so that you could take extra precaution towards them.

Here are some of the following visual changes that will take place :

Boys:

  1. Height and weight increases
  2. Pimples and acne appearing
  3. Wet dreams
  4. Body odors
  5. Voice break
  6. Penis and scrotum get larger and change shape
  7. Hair appearing

Girls:

  1. Breasts get bigger and not same shape
  2. Pimples appearing
  3. Height and weight increase
  4. Increased tiredness
  5. Hair appearing
  6. Mensuration start
  7. Body odor
