Temporary :

  2. Diaphragm
  3. Abstinence
  4. Natural Method
  5. Withdrawal
  6. Spermicide
  7. Contraceptive Pills
  8. Intra-uterine Device
Permanent methods:


  1. Vasectomy ( men )
  2. Tubal Ligation ( women )

This may not really benefit the child from having sexual intercourse but this gives them a sense of knowledge in future, as well as parents too.

Modes of transmitions :
  • Penis
  • Vagina
  • Rectum
  • Urinary tract
  • Mouth
  • Throat
  • Respiratory Tract
  • Eyes

  1. STIs are not transmitted from one person to another by certain sexual activities.
  2. not caused by sexual activities
  3. causing agents are still bacteria/fungi/virus

** STIs only get worse when left untreated!!
